Does travel insurance pay upfront?
Across the board, travel insurance policies are generally designed on a reimbursement basis. This means the traveler will first pay out-of-pocket and then file a claim to be reimbursed. In order to receive reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses, receipts and other documentation may be required. At Tin Leg’s discretion, all, or a portion of benefits, may be paid directly to the provider of the services rendered.
